What are my rights in selecting a shop to perform my repairs?

Here’s some advice for auto owners that are faced with filing an insurance claim. Your insurance company – that you pay that premium to – cannot force you go to their discount repair shops. It’s called steering, and here’s how they do it. They tell you that if you choose a shop on their list, it will be easier, quicker, and the insurance company itself will guarantee the work. Deep discounts are given to the insurance companies for the referrals and, yes, imitation parts and cut rate labor are part of the requirements. They may affect the integrity of the repair and the value of your car. These programs are not set up to benefit you. If you are being pressured to go to a certain shop, think about it. It’s your right to choose.

Can you work on my truck?

Yes. Lisi’s Auto Body provides the same precision collision repairs on trucks as well as autos.

Can you match the paint color of my vehicle?

We are Color Match Experts and can match even complex paint jobs in today’s vehicles.

How can I get a rental car?

Lisi’s Auto Body works with local car rental companies. They will meet you at our shop or we can give you a ride to their facility.

If the frame is damaged, can it be repaired properly?

Lisi’s Auto Body uses a state-of-the-art measuring system and our highly skilled technicians to return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If it is determined the frame section is bent beyond repair, that section can be replaced.

Is there a warranty on the repairs?

Lisi’s offers a written lifetime warranty on repairs as long as you own the vehicle.

Do I have to have used parts on my vehicle?

Lisi’s Auto Body writes estimates using OEM parts (Original Equipment Manufacturer). However, some insurance companies will only pay for used or aftermarket parts. We suggest you review your policy or discuss this with your agent. When used or aftermarket parts are used by Lisi’s Auto Body, they are subject to our inspection for quality and fit.

Can you match the paint color of my vehicle?

We are Color Match Experts and can match even complex paint jobs in today’s vehicles.

When can I wash my vehicle?

Use only a ‘touch free’ car wash within the first 30 days. Do not wax or polish the vehicle. Avoid parking the vehicle in areas where bird droppings could damage the freshly painted surface.

What forms of payment do you accept?

The easiest form of payment is with a major credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard. In addition, cash and local checks are welcome.

How will I know when my vehicle is done?

The estimator will keep you informed as repairs progress, and will call you in advance to let you know when the vehicle will be complete.
